Animal Waste Ordinance

The County is hosting open houses to discuss proposed updates to the Animal Waste Ordinance, also known as the No Winter Manure Hauling Ordinance. You can also contact the ERC Committy or the Marathon County Farm Bureau on this matter.

County Zoning Code Changes

The County is also working on updates to its zoning code and is offering several opportunities for residents to provide input.

Please note that the Town of Day has opted for town zoning, so these changes do not directly affect our township. However, they will impact many neighboring towns and contribute to shaping the overall landscape of Marathon County.

Dog License update

Increase in Dog License fee Marathon County has determined that the current fee schedule is no longer adequate. Please note that while dog licenses are handled through the Town of Day, the fees and regulations are set by Marathon County.
